A moderate hike to good fishing above treeline. This is a remote area and does not have a lot of visitors

From Crested Butte drive South on Hwy 135 2.4 miles to Brush Creek Rd.
Turn left and follow Brush Creek Rd for 5.5 miles to a "Y" intersection.
Take the right fork crossing Brush creek 2 times before intersection FS 738.2B
Turn left continuing up perl Pass Rd FS 738 4.2 miles to the twin lakes trail head, park here
Twin Lake trail follows an old 2-track climbing to the wilderness boundary at .6 mile
Continue climbing gradually, crossing the creek at 2.2 miles.
The lakes are not visible until you are there
Return via the same route.
